Frequently asked questions and answers

It is a scientifically developed cream that can be applied to all types of bait. It sticks well to metal, plastic and rubber and lasts longer than other similar products we have tested. Gobble Sticky adds smell and taste and our tests show that this can in many cases make the fish take an artificial bait that it otherwise would not take. If the fish bites it also drastically increases the chance that the fish will not spit the bait out again.
Gobble can be used on all types of lures, rubber baits, jigs, flies, etc. It can also be used to enhance natural baits.

The cream can be applied to all types of lures, jigs, rubber baits and plastic baits. It adds smell and taste that gives more bites and less chance of the bait being spat out again. Gobble Sticky can be used on everything from small mormyshkas to large shads and jigs. It also sticks to wet lures but it will stick better if you wipe off most of the water before re-applying.
Natural baits can be marinated in Gobble or you can use it on beads, rubber tubing or sinkers together with baits such as fish or shrimp. -
It consists of various stimulants and attractants that lure fish and make them bite. It is a complex mixture of both pure additives and natural extracts. These are added to a natural adhesive that makes it stick extremely well to most artificial baits such as lures, jigs and jigs.

It varies greatly depending on temperature and movement. But you can safely count on a minimum of 5-15 casts. The warmer the water, the faster it will dissolve. It will also wear out faster if it rubs against reeds, seaweed and possibly fish.
How many times can I lubricate the drain with a tube of Gobble Sticky?
Of course, it depends a lot on how much you use and how big the lures/jigs/etc. you use.
We have counted 80-100 applications on an 18 gram lure for sea trout and 30-50 applications on a 20 cm shad.
You don't need to sauce the entire dish, a good strip on each side gives a good effect. -
Gobble Sticky should last a minimum of two years from the date of manufacture. It does not need to be refrigerated or frozen, but avoid placing the tube in direct sunlight or very hot places.
-
If not all of the cream has dissolved during fishing, you can easily wipe off what is left with some paper, a tuft of grass, or something else.

Item descriptionThe strongest colored varieties (SAL and BM) may discolor white or very light colored rubber baits slightly, especially if the cream is left on for a long time. We have never experienced this making rubber baits worse, but if this is a problem, you can try just applying it to any dark areas and washing the bait immediately after use.
-
Yes. The cream will thicken a bit but it will take a long time for it to freeze. Store the tube in a pocket if it is very cold.

Gobble Sticky comes in different varieties that are designed to meet the preferences of as many fish species as possible. Rather than basing each version on a single ingredient such as “sardine” or “shrimp”, we have constructed complex mixtures that contain both pure molecules and natural extracts from various sources. This has proven to be more effective in our tests than basing the product on individual prey. You can read about which types work best on which species below.
-
Most of them! But some versions have worked better on certain species. As a starting point, we recommend starting with the following:
SV: We recommend starting with this one if you are going to fish for saithe, ling, sea trout, ling, sea bass and most other larger predatory fish in the sea, especially the more pelagic ones. The Norwegian record for sea bass was taken on a jig with SV.
BM: This works perhaps best on bottom-dwelling fish and some smaller species. Various flatfish, gilthead, grunt, whiting, and haddock like this well. But cod can also be very enthusiastic about BM at times.
It may be a good idea to try different variations. What the fish are most interested in can vary from day to day and from place to place. -
SAL is intended for trout and other salmonids in both fresh and saltwater. Many have also had good results with SAL when fishing for perch and pike. Carp fish like all varieties. And although SV and BM are mainly developed for marine species, they may be worth testing in freshwater. We will also gradually introduce new varieties that are being tested in freshwater.

It is 100% biodegradable. We have placed great emphasis on using biodegradable ingredients that are not harmful to aquatic and marine life.

Sustainability at all levels is important to us. The product is made from residual raw materials and sustainably produced additives. It does not contain petroleum-based raw materials.
In addition, we have chosen to eliminate raw materials that are supposed to be sustainably produced but where we see that there may be ethical challenges in using them. This includes krill and other crustaceans as well as a number of wild fish products. We believe it is wise to minimize harvesting from the bottom of the food chain for use in bait and have therefore found other alternatives. -
The packaging is designed with sustainability and recycling in mind. Aluminum tubes were found to be the best option. These come in a cardboard container. The only plastic in the packaging is the tube cap, here we will continue to look for alternatives.
